Fire Safety Management & Risk Assessment

Key to the maintenance of General Fire Precautions is a good Fire Risk Assessment. The Fire Safety Management & Risk Assessment course along with the Risk Assessment CD package will highlight the obligations placed upon the Responsible Person by the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and enable the designated person to conduct a thorough assessment of the workplace and thereafter provide the required standard of General Fire Precautions.

Portable Appliance Testing

Given that statistically the most likely cause of an accidental fire within a workplace will be as a result of a faulty or misused electrical appliance tool or installation, the standard of your in service inspection and testing regime will need to be exact. For most workplaces having the ability to conduct Portable Appliance Testing internally is not only the safest and more practical option, it is also likely to be the most economic. No prior experience is necessary, the course assumes zero knowledge and is conducted accordingly.

Fire Marshal/Warden

The role of a Fire Marshal is not just to assist with any evacuation, being the lynch-pin in fire prevention, their role more importantly includes ensuring that those protective measures deemed necessary during the Fire Risk Assessment are adhered too and that the required facilities exist at the coal-face. You may need to either supplement your current compliment or conduct refresher training for your existing team.
