FIRE AWARENESS COURSE

This course is designed for all employees. It will give them a far greater appreciation of fire prevention in the workplace which in turn will give the employer far more collective responsibility.

The aim of the course is to make employees more proactive in not only preventing the potential for a fire to occur but also complying with procedures already laid down.

The areas that will be covered are:

• Legislation
• Theory of fire
• Fire spread
• Causes of fire
• Good housekeeping
• Classification of extinguishers
• Video: get out stay out
• Live fire demonstration, including delegate participation
• Question and answer

A well trained workforce will not only help prevent fire but will also minimise the effect should one occur.
